Several appreciative letters were received from soldiers i u camp thanking- the ladies for tin gifts of Cardigan jackets which had reached them, these gilts be ing particularly useful in the present cold snap. Letters oJ appreciation were also rend front the National Association oi French War Orphans and tlu National Headquarters of the Salvation Army, thanking tlie ladies for the splendid results ot the special Shop Day devoted m theini to these Funds.
