Tlie visit of the Levin District High School football team to Fox ton, postponed from last Saturday on account of the flooded state of the road, was carried out to day. By Hr Saunders' motor lorry, a, party of 34 teachers, and scholars left for tlie field of action. The party was under; the._ charge <of Mr Harding, firsjt assistant; arid other teachers making" tlie trip were Sessrs Roclcel, Connor and Jones. Besides a full teaim and the indispensable emergencies the party curried a crew, of barrackers and tliey liad a most enjoyable day in spite of the fact .that Foxton won by 14 to nil.

Mrs McDonald struck the road heavily and was rendered unconscious besides receiving a nasty cut over the eye; Mi's Brown wac also rather badly cut on the forehead; Mr Brown suffered a dislocatedi shoulder, and Mr McDonald had both legs severely bruised.
