The Bri_ tish and French between the Ardre and Yiony, attacking strong positions advanced over a kilo_ metre, inflicting heavy losses. The British captured prisoners and guns. Our local ■ operation north of Montdidier, whereby this morning we captured Mailly, Raineval, Sanvillers and Aubvillers, gave us 1500 prisoners.
