SPLENDID DISPLAY OF ROOTS AND VEGETABLES. At tile recent Winter Show at Hamilton there was nn exceptionally fine showing of Swede, Mangel and Carrot Kflols. "The finest display of Roots and Vegetables ever made in New Zealand or Australia," was the opinion of the leading - experts upon the exhibit of Messrs F. Cooper, Ltd., the well-known Wholesale Seed Growers of Wellington. [Tpou their stand were to be seen perfect specimens of Cooper's Major, and Matchless White "Carrots, also their Yellow Champioit Carrot, which is the best variety for dairy farmers. The Exhibit included fine Onions, Parsnips, Pufmpkins, Marrows, and other vegetables. The display of Mangels was exceptionally good, Jersey Queen, Mammoth Long Red, and Globe types being staged. The Exhibit was the art mi ration of thousands of visitors. In the competition classes at the Show, Messrs H. W. Maekreth, H. C. AVallace, W. Runciman, G. Manktelow and others, were successful exhibitors from the produce of COOPER'S SEEDS. In the Government trials at lluakura State Farm in 191.8, COOPER'S SEEDS were, particularly sucessful, the germination being exceptionally strong. Many of the splendid specimens of Carrots, Mangels, etc.,- displayed 011 the stand of the Department of Agriculture were produced from COOPER'S MAORILAND GROWX SEEDS.
