Everybody's Pictures.
Two fine films have been chosen for Monday niglit at Everybody's. The first- is an absorbing dra m;i of frenzied finance interwoven with an appealing 1 romance and entitled "High Play." It serves to feature two sterling players- in William Russell and Francelia Billington. In episode 3 of the big serial "The Lass of the Lumherlands," Helen Holmes is seen in a tlmlling piece of acting. First she guides a frail canoe through the rapids of a river in the famed Yosemite Valley on her way to the Recorder's office, and then her men escape death by swimming to the bank when the, automobile falls over a bridge to the water 60 feet below. These are two of the string of exciting incidents which go to make up this episode, and in the end Helen scores first blood in the long combat with he adversary. Another' film of high merit included in this programme is "The Land of Nowhere," which is something quite out of "the ordinary run'.
