New York, June 14. Ships are not sailing owing to reports of new submarines oft' the coast. The captain of „the American steamer Edward Pierce re-
ports that he was shelled for two hours by a TJ-boat off C<ape Henry. Two torpedoes missed. The British steamer Keemun was sunk off Cape Hatteras. Incoming ships report wireless calls. Washington, June 14. Officials believe the TJ-boats are likely to return to Germany with the copper they have taken from captured boats.

Ottawa, June 14. A message from a Canadian port states that the Cunarder Ascania is ashore on th© Newfoundland coast and is breaking up fast but all aboard have been rescued.
