Everybody's Pictures.
Olga Petrova in "Exile" is the arresting line in Everybody's bill to-day. The latest Paramount creation featuring the empress of emotion, is due at Everybody's to-morrow evening and should* prove ah irresistible draw. The endurance of a proud woman unhappily married to an. extremely unwholesome type of man is the theme of the story, which comes to a happy conclusion with the freedom of the woman. The scene is laid in a Portuguese cplony, where Vincent Perez, the profligate Chief Justice, is about to sentence a native to death but needs the evidence of a letter possessed by Richard Hervey, an. American engineer. He compels his wife to offer herself for the incriminating letter, but,; Hervey learns that his love for Claudia is reciprocated.,,.and refuses to accept the sacrifice. He gives her the letter, but before the corrupt judge-can-carry his plan into effect the, natives revolt, capture' and kill him. Thus Harvey and Claudia' find themselves free to begin a life of mutual devotion.
