"The invincible German Army."
CONTEMPT FOR THE AMERICANS. Received tliis day at 11 a.m. Amsterdam, June 10. Fehrenbuch, the new President of the Reichstag, declared that the climax of the ' war was imminent. He ridiculed the idea of the Americans turning the scales in favour of the Allies. Could anybody imagine the invincible German army which had defeated the greatest armies of Europe in addition to the Canadians, Australians land 'Asiatics, retreating before tho Americans.
