Before closing my letter 1 should like to say that your four sons have earned for your family a reputation for courage and fine soldierly qualities that could not be surpassed. Assuring you of my most sincere sympathy in your loss, a feeling that is shared by all your son's mates in the company. For his good work on the 30th., yoHr son -was recommended for the .Military Medal.
