Red Jersey Appeal.
The "Red Jersey appeial is in full swing and it is anticipated that it will be successful. A "Paddy's Market" recently held in Wellington • realised £1300, and the bat)':le of tlhe lied and Blue Army which commencing on Friday is arousing considerable interest. In connection with, the appeal the Committee have sent Mr H. O. Goffin to Levin to arrange an effort whereby fnndis may be raised to help on /jlie splendid work the Army is doing for our boys at (She front. We are sure that the people of. Levin (notwitflisrtandlhig the previous appeal made by the Y.M.C.A. on behalf of their splendid work) wlill treat Mr Goffin generously, so that he will! be able to rc/ium to Wellington with abundant proof of the high epteem in which the people of Levin and district hold thio Ih'old the Salvation Army.
