The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., tLd., report: At Levin yards on Tuesday we offered a small entry of sheep and a large yarding 1 of cattle, including several lines of good Shorthorn heifers and P.A. cows. Vendors were disposed to meet the market and the bidding was brisk. "Practically all lines offered were quitted : Small lambs, 13s Od: small weaners, 30s; good weaner steers, £4 2s Od; m.s. weaners 31s; vealers, £2; light fat heiiers, £8 ss; fat cows, £10 ss; store cows, £4 10s to £5 12s Od; yearling -Tersey cross steers, £3 18s Gd; others, to £6 10s; s.li. lieifers in calf to s.h. bull, £9 18s 6d to £10 10s fid; 18mos. Hereford heifers, £8 10s: P.A. cows in calf to P.A. bull, £14 ss: P.A. bull, 22gns; bulls (potters'), £7 10s to £8 10s.
