Farland's Pictures.
"The Crab" and Romance" will form tEe leading lines of to-night's programme at Farland's Theatre. For Friday big attractions are promised in a double Clara Kimball Young Bill the celebrated screen star appearing both in the old favourife of "Trilby," which never seems to lose its first charm,,and also in her latest triumph "The Foolish Virgin." In this powerful play Mis Young will be seen in the role of the young girl whoae ideas of life are confused with the romantic stories of the days of chivalry. Knowing nothing of realities, the heroine is deceived into marrying a man who turns out to be a criminal. The girl exerts her influence towards the redemption of the man she loves and it is in the process that tense dramatic scenes develop. For Saturday a Metro star is billed. It is entitled "The Awakening of Helen Ritchie," and is said to present some new and curious features in picture plots. There will also be another instalment of the popular serial "TEe Secret of the Submarine," which grows in intensity as it proceeds.
