The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report having held a most successful sale of dairy stock on account of Mr P. H. Heap at the farm, Kimberley road, Levin. There was a large 'attendance of buyers, and competition was brisk, results proving highly satisfactory to the vendor. Quotations: Cows calving May £12 10s to £20 2s Gd, June £i 3 10s to £20 ss, July £9 10s to £15 10s, August £10 2s 6d to £13 10s, September £10 2s 6d to £11 2s 6d, October £8 4s to £10, average £13 5s per head. Heifers, R.W.B. £5 7s to £8, weaner heifers 355, Bull £8 10s, aged spring cart mare £15. sows with litters £4 lis, sows to farrow 39s to £4 Is, boar 20s, s.f. plough £13 10s, disc £9, harrows £5 ss, spring cart £16, sundries at full market rates. On account outside venclors: Spring calving cows £7 10s to £9, store cows £5 to £6 6s, spring cart £13 7s Gd, dogcart £15 12s 6d.
