An official despatch from Rome reports serious clashes between German and Slav regiments be hind the Austrian lines on the Italian front because the Germans jeered at the Slavs who were sing mg their national hymns. After furions fighting the Slavs were overpowered, locked in railway waggons and sent to the front.
