SPLENDID SHOW ENTRIES.
Entries for tlie Horowhenua A. and P. Association Show to be held on the Racecourse, Levin, on Wednesday next, January 30, are now finally closed, and are in all respects quite up to previous years, there being some 570 in number.
The cattle classes are particularly good totalling- .190 Entries, as against 166 last year, and in this section the exhibits promise to be far ahead of previous years in quality.
The sheep are not quite up to lastyear owing to one or two keen exhibitors in this seeti6n having recently left the district-
The Competitions and HorseClasses are well filled, and the public can r#ly on witnessing some good events.
Several trophies have been donated this year by generous donors. In addition to the Lady's Bracelet, for the best lady's Hack, Mrs >T. R. McDonald, Junr., donates a special prize of £1 Is for the best lady ruler.
The _ Luncheon, iincl 'afternoon tea is in the capable hands of the ladies of Levin and district, and patrons can - rely on having every thing of the best for their money-
