Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Levin on Tuesday we lxad small yardings of botli sheep and cuttle, but prices were a little better than at the closing sale of last year. We quote: — Store lambs, 7s 9d to 10s 8d ; store ewes, 17s 9d; 2-tootii wethers, 23s Gd to 25s Gd; light fat lambs, 17s 4d; potter rams, 28s; light fat cows, £9 15s, £10 5,5, £10 12s Gd, £10 16s to £11 Is; forward cows, £7 lGs, £8 Is, £8 5s to £8 12s Gd ; store cows, £G 5s to £0 (is; 2A-year steers, £12 3s (id ; small yearling steers, £5 Is; weaner steers, £2 4s Gd, £2 Gs 6(1 to £3; weaner heifers, 32s to £2 lis; mixed M'eaners, 42s to £2 15s; potter bulls, £7 2s (id, £7 ss, £13 2s Gci to £13 7s Gd; weaner pigs, 9s Gd to 13s Gd; store pigs, 14s, 18s, 20s, 21s; porkers, 335, 355, 3Gs, 42s Gd, 48s, 555, to 575. Dnlgety and Company, Limited, report having offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle at their Levin yards on Tuesday. Although bidding was slack, the bulk of the entry was disposed of nt satisfactory prices : —Store ewes, 17s, 21s, to 24s Gd, cull ewes, 12s; woolly lambs to lGs; fat cows to £13; forward cows to £9; forward empty heifers to £8 10s; 3 J-year steers to £13 15s; store cows to £7 10s; springing heifers to £9 ss; heifers in milk to £10 10s; vealers to £3 10s; M.S. weaners to £2 ss; bulls £7 10s to £12 12s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co, Ltd., report having held their usual weekly stock sale at the Levin yards on Tuesday- A small entry of sheep and cattle met with a good clearance at the following prices: Good condition B.F. M.S. 2tooths, 22s Gd; small ditto 20s sd; F. G-. cows £8 15s; 18-month heifers, £5 to £7 2s Gd; yearling steers, £5 10s; 2-year Jersey bull, £9 ss; weaner steers, £2 to £3 17s; mixed weaners, £3 4s to £3 ss. ■
