Tea loaves moistened wi'h vinegar will remove the discoloura' <u in glass caused by flowers. When scissors get blunt .iarpen them by opening and moving backwards and forwards on a piece of glass.
Grass stains on clothing should be soaked in paraffin. The garment may then be sent to the laundry as usual.
If razor hones are placed upon strong magnets, razors will be held flat, and can be sharpened more rapidly and accurately.
When cleaning knives, damp them be fore rubbing 011 the board. This wil. produce a better polish,and they wil! clean much quicker.
When a kettle is "furred" inside, fill it with water, add a lump of borax, and let it boil well. Then pour away the boras and water, and rinse thoroughly with clear cold water. Long clothes-lines can be prevented from sagging by means of the following simple device. Bore a quarter-inch hole through the pole about two inchcs from one end; through this pass a piece of strong wrapping twine about Ift in length, tying its ends together to form a loop. To use, simply trow the loop over the clothes line and push the end of the pole up.
