Our readers will learn wA'jh deep regret that advice has been received of tihe death i&i action of Sergeant "M. HE. Gtoirringe, of Ihakara, and brother of Mr Herbert Gorringet, of I,'evin. Another brother is still with the' New Zealanders in France. Mrs Gorringe who was a daughter of the late Mr Donald iFraser, one of * m© pioneer settlers of the ißangit.ikei, took up war work after iher husband's departure and lia;*; been devotedly engaged in it ever since.
