Oil account of the scarcity of bran and pollard, rice meal has been used ':o a very laigu extent, but now owing to the shon supplies ol rice from .Japun and othci countries this is becoming more diificult to obtain and prices have considerably 'advanced during the past week. Teed barley is very scarce wit!:i a few lines offering at .> or.ces. Poultry is coming forward n> much larger quantities and; prices have declined; but 110 doubt through the coming week the Christinas demanu will absorb all supplier. The demand ■for pork has decreased and price's have declined. Vegetables.—Cabbage is now niucn more plentiful and prices have lalien considerably.
