Munition Girls' Titian Socks.
An interesting revelation was mado at West London i'olice Court of the craving of women for hair of Titian red tlie hue which so maiiy r great artists have admired. A woman was charged with stealing from a munition works some articles, among wliick were two pellets. At this announcement a number of girl munition workers, seated at the back of the court, broke into sobs, and it was some time before they could control their emotion. i[r de Grey discharged prisoner, and the girls in court cheered his decision, ami outside kissed their comrade effusively.
