A cable- from Rome stai.es it is believed that Venice will he saved from tho Teuton advance at the Adriatic end of the Piavo river. The invaders have been halted. New York, December 3. A United Press message from the Italian front states the Anglo-Fronek have taken over the vulnerable points on the entire Piave river trout. Tin Tei4':ona will find them an impas-ablc barrier.
