Tlio German war correspondents report tliat Italian resistance is increasinly stubborn. The plains arc bathed in sunshine, but in the mountain,? the troops are lying in snow. The Italians have some protection, but the Germans have only holes in the snow. Official despatches from Home state that Hiiidenbur.g personally is leading the Austro-Germans in Italy. He planned for Conrad's army to sweep the Setti Communi plate.au and the armies of' Krobatin and Von Bulow to traverse the H rent si valley, cms the ' mountains and descend into the Venetian plains. Italian resistance upset, both schemes.
