The Horowhentia Horticultural and | Industrial Society's allow held at Otaki j on Thursday was a great isuccess, the entries. 649, being well up to the aver, age, and making a splendid display of flowers, pot plants, decorations and home industries. In rosev Mr Frank Penn was awarded the championship for a -magnificent speciman of Marquis ii.'tta. Mr F. R. Wright, of Levin, secured) first prize for three blooms, varieties, second for three full-blown roses and second for six roses, varieties. There were no other Levin exhibitors.
