The Hindenfourg line . has been smashed and the British are advancing on a wide front. Marcoing, an important village covering Cambrai, has been captured and the whole Canal.line taken. Thousands of prisoners . have been secured. ' HAIG CONFIRMS GOOD NEWS. The High Commissioner reports : LONDON, Nov. 21, 2.10 p.m. Sir Douglas Haig reports that . the whole Hindenburg line has been broken to a depth of between four and five miles. LONDON, Nov. 20. A German wireless message admits that the Eng- . lish attacking in strong force gained ground between the roads from Bapaume, Peronne and Cambrai.
