EVERY MAN IS REQUIRED TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION IN THE PRESCRIBED FORM NOT LATER THAN Ist DECEMBER, 1917. "Alien" means a person of either sex not Icps than fifteen years of age who fo not a British subject either by birth or by naturalization in .New Zealand. Alien seamen may register with Collector of Customs at port where vessel is lying. Every such application shall be in writing in duplicate, and shall bo made by delivering the same" personally to a Registration Officer.
