PRIVATE WILLIAM S. BOVEY.

Another valuable life sacrificed in. the service of country and honour is that of Private William Studd Bovey, son of the late Mr John Bovey, of Stoke,, Net son, and l brother of Mrs E. A. {Daniels, of Stanley street, Levin. The late Mr Bovey had been a resident of Levin for about four years, having been employed on the Central Development Farm, and although 45 years of age ho volunteered for service and left with the Twenty-fifth Reinforcement. He liad hardly iarrived in Englind wtoen tho call came to face the enemy and after only a fe\V day in the trentfli'ee he met liis dleath in action.' Private Bovey had previously seen service in tho South African war, whence lie was. invalided home.
