Further Retreat to the next River. Received November 6, at 10.30 a.m. LONDON, November 5. The fate of the main Italian army ftangs in the balance. The Austrians made an attempt to debouch in the roar from Lake Garda. Thoy were held lip. bat the German pressure on the left wing at Tagliamento is most intense. One western bridgehead was lost, and retreat towards the Piave seems inevitable.
