The mother dies; leaving the embittered father with a baby girl which he despises. He tried to make a boy of her, but he was outwitted in a way that makes good material for a picture. Tomoriow and Saturday a Metro masterpiece '' The Snowbird " is starred. It tells an intense and absorbing story of the white and silent north. In the six parts there is not a dull moment and the interest is maintained from beginning to end. A free matinee for children will be held on Saturday afternoon.
