Fortunate buying has placed the firm's hosiery, glove and neckwear sections in an excellent position to supply customers' show wants. Messrs Millar and Giorgi, Palmerston North, mercers and outfitters, announce a great colour card competition for boys ■under 14. Valuable prizes are offered and intending competitors should write to the firm for particulars. " Benzoma," a favourite and effective toilet cream, is the subject of Mr C. S. Keedwell's new advertisement to-day.
Messrs Parker and Vincent announce a clearing sale of furniture, tools and household effects on behalf of Mr V. T. Hitchings and other vendors, to be held at the mart on November 3. Messrs Abraham and "Williams will hold a clearing sale on behalf of Mr E. Rockfort, Levin, on Monday.
