FARLAND'S PICTURES.
" COMMON LAW" WEEK"
Farlard's this week open out with big business. The chief attraction of course is Clara Kim* ball Young's brilliart screen version of Robert Chambers' much debated novel "The Common Law," which is billed for Friday and Saturday. For the three remaining nights changes are promised commencing with tonight when the star film is a Nihilist drama ''The Scarlet Oath," in which beautiful Gail Kane plays a dual rule. The scenes are laid in Russian cities and the action is true to the tradition of Russian drama. The man at the throttle side of the locomotive is the hero of The Railrider," which will be shown to-morrow. There is a most exciting struggle in the closing scenes and a fine exhibition of iron nerve and daring. A " Peg o' the Ring" matinee on Saturday will be free to all children
