TON OF EXPLOSIVES DROPPED ON FOUNDRY AND STATION.
FIVE ENEMY SCOUTS SHOT DOWN. (High Commissioner's Cable) Received October 23, at so a.m. London, October 21. A British official report says : Our aeroplanes made a raid into Germany this afternoon. A foundry and railway junction near Saarbrucken received more than a ton of bomb 3, resulting: in a big 1 explosion. Four hostile scouts were shot down.
