EVERYBODY'S PICTURES.

"WITHIN THE LAW" TO-NIGHT. Many people have read the book or seen the play of " Within the Law," but we understand the screen version of it, by the famous J. C. Williamson Company, Ltd., is of outstanding merit. Muriel Star takes the leading role and is supported by an exceptionally strong cast. The story does not need to be repeated, as everyone is acquainted with it. Wherever the picture has been shown it has drawn crowded houses, and the same will,no doubt be experienced here. The plan is at Aitken's and the prices are 2s and Is. There will be a matinee on Saturday afternoon, with prizes for the children.

On Friday and Saturday the " Sins of Men " will be screened. It tells the story of William Holman, an old Polish philosopher, who writes a book entitled "Myself," promulgating a new doctrine of character. Its principles demoralise his own son and daughter, who become involved in intrigues—the former with au innocent young girl the philosopher rescued from a life squalor, and the latter with the old man's publisher. The havoc that the new religion brings with it thus spreads to all connected with the author and his publication. There is a terrible and tragic sequel, but this is neatly turned into a moral lesson in a manner that must be left to the film to reveal.
