The Fox comedy " Hearts and Saddles" is said to stand comparison with any of its predecessors, which is saying a good deal, for these funmakers have established a reputation for originality and sur. prising effects combined with good comedy.
Next week lovers of drama are to have an opportunity of seeing on the screen one whose name was almost a household word in Australasia during her stay in these parts. Muriel Starr is one of America's foremost tragediennes, and her work in '' Within the Law " is said to be as brilliant on the screen as on the legitimate stage.
