THE PARAMOUNT SERVICE,
The management of Everybody's Pictures, Levin, have secured the rights to the now Paramount Service and the equally famous Fox films, and it is not surprising to hear that they have "taken on." Many new screen stars are being introduced, and many of the old favorites are now appearing under the Paramount banner. A list, which now includes the following stars, should be able to supply art and comedy sufficient to meet all tastes Mary Pickford, Marguerite Clark, Pauline Frederick, Marie Doro, Fanny Ward, Mae Murray, Olga Petrova, Margaret Illington, Billie Burke, Dorothy Dalton, Wallace Rcid. Sessue Hayakawa, William S. Hart, Chas. Ray, Douglas Fairbanks, Jack Pickford, Fatty Arbuckle, Victor Moore, and Clara Kimball Young. In addition to this cluster of stars all the Thomas H. Inch productions, the Mack Sennett comedies, and the Demille Farrar and D. W. Griffith's personally directed enterprises find their way to the outside world through the Paramount Service. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, *"and Saturdays the Paramount films are released at Everybody's, and on Fridays the famous Fox photoplays are screened. It is stated that William Fox spends as much as a million dollars on one production, and his comedies are making laughs all the world over. To-night the Paramount feature programme is headed by Valeska Suratt in " The Emigrant," a story true jto life in every detail. Five support films included the first part of a new serial, which is said to be a gripper of the first order. On Tuesday and Wednesday the "Irving of Japan," Suessue Hayakawa, who was starred in " The Cheat," will be seen in a great drama, "The Soul of Kura San,' and Friday next will see Nance O'Neil, one of the most powerful emotional actresses in "A Woman's Past," a Fqx drama which has been much talked about in other places. " The Divinity of Motherhood" is a special feature for next Thursday. It is one of the popular problem plays, and is a very powerful reply to " Where are my Children ?" Seats may be booked at Aitken's. Prices are 2s and Is, with nothing extra xor bookings. Patrons are advised to book early.
