I There was a largo and representative j : attendance, buyers being present from Palmeiston North, Wanganui, Wairarapa and Taranaki Districts and a most (satisfactory sale has to be recorded. A complete clearance was made <_f all lines of l<nlJoe);.- ottered, the only lines passed being a few low conditioned cows and young steers and heifura of btul colours and poor quality. Principal saios'eftected were as under : 4 3'oar forward Hereford bullocks £17 13s [J & 4 year fair conditioned bulloc a 3355, 3405, 3 year steers, 300 a, 297s Gd, 2905, 2803. An extra choice line of pood condit-
ioned Polled Agnus and Shorthorn Crosa Wearier Steers made the satisfactory figures of of 2045.
Light weight fat heifers, 17Is, to SliHs, fair conditioned empty count, 1755, to 182s (id. Forward empty <■< \vs, 220s to 222s (id, choice springing heifers, 200s to 2755, yearling steers, 103s, to 140s. Yearling heifers, 80s to 1345.
