Parsnips, marrows and pumpkins are short in supply and prices havo advanced .slightly. Swedes are coming forward freely. but some of them avo not too good an quality. Celery is rory scarce and any arriving brings a high figure. Spring onions, leeks and white turnips are only commanding medium prices. Rhubarb is coming i'or.v'a-rd more freely but $lie prices secured ape very satisfactory. 'Given peas made their iir.st appearance this week and 't.he price realized was a record one. Tho demand tor apples is now getting wry keen, and as a full supply is not coming forward good lines aro realizing very high values. Des-i-vrt pears are just now unprocurable anil cooking lines have very much advanced in values.
