A fire occurred in one of the cellars of lE. ißeeoe and Sonf?, hardware merchants, Colombo-street, causing considerable damage to the stock through firo and water, and to stock elsewhere in the establishment through smoke. The actual amount of damage is not known. The building was affected and the stock for £3400 distributed amongst a Large number of offices.
