Intimation was made to Txwiti Borough Council last night that on payment of £2500 by Horowhenua County (including Levin Borough) this county would bo iiuiluded in Palmeiston X. Hospital District, providing /Wellington Hospital Board agreed. The transfer would 'reduce the annual levies by one-half, and would save thousands of pounds in the course of a few years. Mr Blenkhorn moved that a vote of thanks be accorded to Mr 1!. R.
