The death occurred on Sunday last of Mrs. George Thompson, wife of Mr Thompson,' Levin. Mrs. Thompson, had 'been ill for a lnuij while, and death came as a welcome release from suffering. The following ladies and gentlemen wero the lucky receivers of 5s each— during last week, in Levin—the money being distributed by a representative of The Crippled Soldiers' Hostel Art Union to all persons who on request showed a ticket bearing the words "Wizard Lighting for Country Homes and Stores" :—Miss Seweil.
