(To tho Editor). Sir, Mutter w being sold over the counter in Levin at Is 8d per lb., and 'is 9d if booked. How is it that in Wellington butter is Tiding 'Sold in the shops lor Is 5d and Is (3d? Housewives in Levin are asking if our storekeepers are exploiting their customers. At "Wanganui the price is Is -Id, at Auckland is 3d, at Timaru Is (id. Why ore we being charged Is 8d and Is 9d?—Yours, etc., -A.P.
