LEV.IN STOCK SALE. Mcssis 1-taigety anil Co., Ltd., Wellington, report having held their usual weekly sale at Levin 011 Tuesday last, when they offered a gopd yarding of sheep nnd «. t'«ir ®iitry of tattle. At the commencement of tlio sale, sh«ep were rather inclined to drag, but brightened considerably as the sale went 011, and they quitted most of their entry under the hammer. Cattle met with a good sale and competition was very brisk, especially for fat cattle. Tljuro was 110 demand for dairy stock. Quotations: — Small m.s. hoggets, '15s 7d to los lid; small lambs lis 7d to lis 9d; f.m. ewes in lamb to 28s 3d; poor store ewes 16s; yealers to 28s; fat heifers £9 10s to £15 lCfe; fat cows to £15 10s; bulls JS6 to £G Bs.
