On account of further large supplies of potatoes having come from the south' the price is somewhat easier. T.hera is no change in wheat but a fair enquiry exists for seed varieties. The demand for oats is a little easier but owing to the shortage of shipping space from Australia prices are likely to be maintained. There is good enquiry for maize and prices have slightly advanced. Pollard and bran are in short supply and prices are inclined to harden. Eggs are still scarce and recent prices are being maintained. Dressed pork is not coming forward so freely and a keen demand exists. All clases of poultry are eagerly sought after at satisfactory prices. Cabbage and cauliflower are in short supply at recent rales. French beans' are very scarce and exceptional prices are being realized. Good linos of lettuce are bringing high prices Imt inferior lines are hard to dispose of. Swedes are in fair supply and prices are satisfactory. Pumpkins are selling well. Marrows are in short supply and good prices are being realized. Parsnips and carrots are in good demand. Beetroot and celery are bringing satisfactory prices. Spring onions and leeks are selling well. Choice lines of dessert and conking apples are very short and better prices are being obtained. Dessert and cooking pears are in fair supply and recent rates are being maintained. Tomatoes are scarce and bringing high prices. Grapes are slightly lower in price. Potatoes.
