« NZ FARMERS' BTSTRIBUTIXG COMPANY, LIMITED. WEEKLY REPORT. Wellington, June 16. The supply of potatoes from the south has been somewhat short and the market here is not fully supplied and prices are inclined to rise. Wheat still remains the same as arranged by thei Government. 'Hie) demand for oats is now good and prices are very firm. Maize is in fairly good supply, but recent prices are still being maintained. Bran and pollard are hard to obtain and tlie market is bare. On account of large importations of eggs the market dropped during the week but is now inclined to rise again. The demand for dressed pork is still very keen and supplies were not quite as large as usual on account of the wet weather. Poultry is eagerly sought after at good prices. Vegetables.—Cabbages and cauliflowers are now coming forward slowly and' good quality lines are realia ing liigh rates. ' French beans arc a luxury and bringing record prices. Good lines or lettuce are still in demand and high prices are ruling. Swedes are hardly-,keeping up to the demand and prices are most satisfactory. Pumpkins are coming forward in small lots and are meeting witli keen demand. Parsnips and carrots can be handled in larger quantities. Beetroot, celery and spring onions are still selling well. Choice lines of dessert and cooking apple have been very short during the •week and consquently prices are Wight. [Dessert and cooking pears also have been scarce and recent rates have been upheld. Tomatoes are now practically out of the market. Grapes are in short supply and the demand is very good. Potatoes.—Prihno iHutt £6 ,to £7 per ton.

French Beans.—ls per lb. Beetroot.—Bd to Is per bunch. Spring onions.—lOd to Is per bundle. Parsnips.—ss to 7s Gd per sack. Marrows.—4s to 5s Cd per sack. Swedes.—4s per cwt. Pumpkins.—ss 6d to 6s 6d per sack Celery.'—(s per dozen. Leeks.—6d to lOd per bundle. Kumcras. 2d per lb. Artichokes.—2d per lb. Apples.—Dessert 8s to 10s per case. Apples.—Cooking 5s to 7s 6d per case. Grapes—2s Gd per lb. Pears.—Local W.B.C. choice dessert 9s to lis per half case. 'Pears.—Cooking 9s per full case. Maize.—ss 9d per bushel. Dressed pork.—7o's to 90's 7|d; 90'.s to 100's 7d; baconers 6d; choppers (heavy) 3d to 4d per lb. Eggs.—2s 6d per dozen.
