PUB'LIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Local Bill promoted by the Foxton Harbour Board and having the above short title will bo introduced ill Parliament at the next Session. The objects which the Bill is intended to effect aro:— To constitute the Foxton 'Harbour District; to appoint an additional member of the Board reresentiing the Kairanga County to enable His Majesty to transfer and the abovo Board acquire certain lands and assets being the Railway Wharf and other parts of the foreshore at Foxton ; to enable the Board to acquire a dredge; to effect general lnirbour works for the improvement and management of the Foxton' Harbour; to borrow moneys not ex-, cecding £1G,000: to provide for the raising of such loan the payment of interest thereon and redemption thereof; to enable the Board to levy a differential rate within the iFoxtou Harbour Distriqt as therein set out and fixing the. maximum of such rate. A copy of this Bill and a plan have been deposited at tilts' Stipendiary Magistrate's Courthouse at Palmerston North and at the offices of the Foxton Harbour Board, Foxton, and are there open to public inspection.
