PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Local Bill promoted by the Foxton Harbour Board and having the above short title will be introduced in Parliament at the next Session. The objects which the ißill is intended to effect are: — To constitute the Foxton 'Harbour District; to appoint an additional member <>f the Board representing the Kairanga County to enable His Majesty to transfer and the above Board acquire certain lands and assets being the Railway Wharf and other parts of the. foreshore at [ Foxton ;to enable tlic Biard to ac J quire a dredge; to effect general I harbour works for the improvement and management of the Foxton Harbour; to borrow moneys not exceeding £16,000; to. provide for the raising of such loan the payment of j interest thereon and redemption thereof; to enable the Board to levy a differential rate within the iFoxton .Harbour Disltict as therein set out and fixing the maximum of such rate.
