DI&VER'S ENTERTAEMMENT. | Mr Driver's entertainment to be | given in the Town Hall, Levin, next Wednesday evening promises to be exceptionally good. . The Mauawatu i Herald, referring to the performance says:—"There was a large a.sd appreciative audience in the Town .Hall last night to witness Driver's [entertainment. It is about eight years since this talented illusionist and magician gave a performance in Foxton, and he has not lost any of his dash. His cabinet tricks were clever amusing and mystifying. Ho demonstrated 'by trickery what spirit mediums claim t© do by spirit. While the performance is proceeding he cheerfully rubs it into spirit mediums. His exhibition of taible-tnrning, slate-writing, 'materialization of spirits, etc., demonstrated how susceptible people can be decieved, gulled and plucked by charlatans. Driver, by clever trickery, brings into ridicule spiritualistic manifestations. His sleight-of-hand work, etc., were cleverly given. The entertainment was bright and clever from st trt t-c finis' ami thoroughly enjoyed by all."
