There is no change in wheat, there being a fair enquiry for seed varieties. [Little is doing in o*ats, recent prices having been maintained. Maize is in good clemand, and there is little movement in price. Pollard andi bran are in good demand. Eggs are scarce, and show 110 change in price since last report. There is an excellent enquiry elasses of poultry are in good demand fo,r prime dressed pork, and much larger supplies could l>e dealt with. All at satisfactory rates. Vegetables.—Cabbages andi cauliflowers are in good demand, and choice lines sell readily at satisfactory rates. Green peas and French beans are practically 'finished. Choice linss of lettuce bring satisfactory prices, i but inferior lines are hard to f|nit Swedes are in fair supply. Pumpkins are selling well. The supply of marrows has fallen off, and good lines are selling at fair rates. l'arsnips are in fair demand. Beetroot, leeks, spring onions and' celery are selling well. i Fruit.—Choice lines of dessert and cooking apples arae in fair supply and prices are satisfactory. Dessert and cooking pears meet fair demand at recent quotations. Tomatoes are scarce and sell readily at good rates. .'Grapes are in short supply, and high prices aare ruling.
