A "MISSING . WORD" PROBLEM. From a homestead between Kuku and Levin, a backwoods "pote" sends The Ohroni'clo pome rhymes. They run:— Bill Sykes and Kaiser Bill and Nick The Old, and many a missing link, Go pigeon-toed with corns because They are not shod by •• Long —, short' , and other joints Of Lethe's waters often drink Unknown, untliouglit of, unremarked, Around Levin they creep and slink. The reason why is plain to see— They spend their days in toil and swink, Just through their false economy— They need to 'tise like — : —
