TN ACCORDANCE with the provisions of Section 50 of "The Rating Act, 1908," and Section 117 of "The Counties Act, '1908," PUBLIC (NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN 1 that it is the intention of this Council, at its meeting to be held on the 9th 1 day <yf June, 1917, to strike the General and' Separate Rates inl the respective Ridings of tHorowhenua County for the period l from the Ist oif. April, 1917, to the 31st March, 1918: viz.— In the TOKOMARU RIDJiNIG, a General Rate of 2d in the £1. .In the WIROKINO iDIIDING, a General Rate of Id in the £1. In the OTAKI RIDING, a General Rate of Id in the £1. In the TE HORO RIDING, a General Rate of Id in the £1. And in terms of "The Water Supply Act, 1908," and "The Hating Act, 1908," a Separate, Rate of Jd in the £1 in the Horowlienua Water Race District, and a Separate Kate of l-3rd of Id in the £1 in the Hiautere Water Race District. All upon the Capital Value of all ratable properties in tli© respective Ridings and Water Race Districts aforesaid, and ibe payable on the First Day of July, 1917. . ..
