Tiie New Zealand Lean and Mercantile Agency Co., iLd., report:—At our •weekly stock sale held at Levin last Tuesday, -we offered a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of oattle to a gocd attendance of buyers, and we have to report a good clearance. Quotations: Fat wethers (heavy) £2, fat ewes (light) 32s Bd, 2-th to f.f.m. ewes (low condition) 28s 6:1, 3-th ewes (principally black-face) 29s 6d, 2-th wethers (d-ck-face) 28s 9d, others to 32s Id, cull ewes 13s Gd, small ..lambs 14s, good woolly lambs 21s Gd, aged rams 1 to 1} gns. Light fat cows - £10 10s, store cows .£(! to ,67 Is, springing cow (gcod quality) £16 7s 6d. DALGETY AND COMPANY. Messrs Dalgety and Company., report having offered a fair ynnling of sheep rnd cattle at their Levin sale on Tuesday. There was a good attendance of buyers and most of the lots offered were disposed of at satisfactory prices. They quote:—Woolly lambs 17s 9d to 20s; f.m. ewes to 18s 9d; fat bullocks £15 12s; forward bullocks £13 •lOte; 21-year steers £9 10s; 2-yea.r steers £8 2s 6d ; weaner steers £5 15s; weaner heifers £3 17s 6d to £3 19s.
